Along a remote shore of Concordia’s World is a beautiful stretch of sandy beach bordered by rock pools teeming with life. There, amongst the crabs and limpets, lives this beautiful little winged, lizard-like dragon. Just as happy in the water as out of it, she loves nothing more than going for lazy flights to view her surroundings, basking in the sun on a rock or exploring the shallow waters of her home.
Like all dragons, this one is very intelligent. Her name is Nerida, meaning mermaid. If you stop still and listen quietly, she’ll hypnosis you with her tales of wonder of the sea.
Size: The overall size of Nerida on her driftwood base is approximately 25 cm (10”) long by 14 cm (5 1/2”) by 9.5 cm (3 3/4”) tall.
Materials: Nerida has been created entirely from pre-owned materials including scraps of fabric, embroidery threads, beads and jewellery wire, but has new stuffing. She is mounted on a piece of driftwood collected from above the tide line on the north Dorset coast.
Product care: Display away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Dust gently. If necessary, use a piece of netting secured over the end of a hoover nozzle to gently vacuum dust away.
